  • Deploy from GitHub

    Web apps, workers and cron jobs. Every push to the branch builds on your server and switches traffic once the new version passes its health check.

  • One-click rollback

    If the new version doesn't respond, the old one keeps serving. And you can go back to an earlier deploy from the dashboard.

  • With or without a Dockerfile

    If the repository has no Dockerfile, Railpack detects the language and builds the image.

  • Variables and secrets

    Build and runtime variables are kept apart, so secrets never end up inside the image.

  • One-click templates

    Umami, Plausible, n8n and Uptime Kuma on your server, with what each one needs and HTTPS on your domain. No repository.

  • Custom domains and automatic SSL

    Several domains per app, a Let's Encrypt certificate on each and a www redirect.

  • Hetzner servers from the dashboard

    Connect your Hetzner account and create a server with the agent already installed. Or use the VPS you already have, from any provider.

    We don't offer them. If you need them, put Cloudflare in front of your server.

What can I deploy?

Any app that runs in a container: Next.js, Node, Python, Go, PHP… With or without a Dockerfile. Background workers and cron jobs too.

How long does a deploy take?

On a server with 2 vCPUs, our Next.js test app took 110 seconds for the first deploy and 59 for each push after that. The blog has the details, in the guide to moving from Vercel to a VPS.

What server do I need?

A VPS with Ubuntu or Debian, from any provider. For a small app, 2 GB of RAM is enough: the build needs a lot more memory than the running app.

What happens if a deploy fails?

The old version keeps serving. Traffic only moves to the new one once it passes its health check, and the dashboard shows you the deploy log.
